FIRST DAY COVER:
A First Day Cover (FDC) is a postage stamp on a cover, postal card or stamped envelope franked on the first day of the issue. It is a kind of Birth Certificate.

- Definitive stamps - It is issued year after year and the quantity produced is not capped.
- Commemorative stamps - It is issued commemorating important events, prominent personalities in various fields, etc. It is not continuously issued.
